A logical follow-up to the International Day of Museums on May 18, 2022 in order to enhance the achievements and make visible the activities
As part of the celebration of the International Day of Museums on May 18, 2022, the Institute of Civilization and Museum of Art and Archaeology of the University of Antananarivo opened its doors to primary school students. The goal is to make the Museum of the University of Antananarivo known to a wider public and not only to academics.
Several other activities join this perspective : like the initiative an object, a story that the Museum broadcasts on the Facebook which consists in presenting a historical object or a heritage exposed in the museum ; or the biannual containing the articles on all the animations of the Museum. These activities not only have an educational purpose but also constitute a means of attracting potential partners.
The Museum is the practice ground for students and research teachers. Indeed, they can contribute to the research carried out by the Museum. These researches allow to emphasize our culture and our patrimonies to encourage young people to value and therefore protect our assets. The Museum plans to increase its initiatives to attract students to visit.
